You can easily CANCEL your appointment:

• by calling - 705-647-6100, press 3 (24 hours a day / 7 days a week).

As a courtesy to our office and to the other patients waiting for care,

appointment cancellations require at least 24 hours / one business days’ notice.

Missed Appointment / No Show Policy

 

Missed appointment charges are as follows:

​

• First missed appointment - reminder letter

• Second missed appointment $50.00

• Third and subsequent missed appointment - $50.00 and patient may be dismissed from the practice, since the time is needed in the care of other patients.

 

Please be reminded that as per policy, patients who have missed three appointments may be dismissed from your physician’s practice, since the time is needed in the care of other patients.

A patient will be considered to have missed their appointment / ‘No Show’ when:

• The patient does not contact the office to cancel a scheduled appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment (except in exceptional circumstances beyond control); OR

• The patient does not show for their scheduled medical appointment without notifying the Great Northern Family Health Team office.
